1990s Pentax Zoom 280p remote works on MX-1 perfectly

Just bought an MX1 yesterday and I was thinking how often do manufacturers change remote codes (not very often) so I set on a little experiment and found out that tje Zoom 280p remote works perfectly on the MX1. Just thought I'd share.

So it seems, I just found out that it also works with the Samsung GX20.

You're welcome. On the MX-1 it operates the shutter release and the zoom just like in the old Zoom 280p. On the Samsung GX-20 it operates the shutter release.

Cheap chinese remotes go for around 1 US$ at ebay incl. shipping and work perfectly with the MX-1.

I am not sure where you are in the world but in the UK there's Metro Imaging and Peak Imaging. If you shoit black and white, it's very easy and fun to develop and scan. There's loads of tutorials online nowadays.
