a99 video manuel mode - how to?

How do I set up my a99 to video manuel mode???? It goes directly to automatic and than for some reason when I hit the record button it crops the image for video. So i lose my full frame sensor. Why????

Turn your Mode dial to the 'Movie' icon, make sure you're in manual focus, press the Fn button, go to the Movie settings on top left of your screen, press enter on the joystick, there you will find 4 settings P S A or M, scroll down to M and press enter. Now you will have full manual control of your shutter, aperture and ISO.
