AMphoto is the same as broadway photo. Do a search on here before recommending them to anyone. You cannot buy just a camera for that price from them. Read about how these places work here if you like...

Looks like a bait and switch type of place. I know I called Brodway photo about a Dimage 7 that they had for a good price, but they told me it was gray market, so I placed my order somewhere else.

If you don,t buy these overpriced accessories from them you wont get the camera at that cheap price....that is why they have such low price on cameras...they are trying to bait people. If you don't buy their accessories, they will tell you it's back order and you'll wait forever to get the camera..if you pay 200$ for a 256MB CF card, then they sent the camera because they already made enough money out of you.

If price is your hold up I would recommend looking at the 7i. Unless you really plan on shooting in RAW mode the D7i is a great choice.

I would agree if there was another Amazon deal than jump on it, but I think many people would be very happy with a D7i. I loved mine for a long time.
