Good Morning DP Review,

So I have been eyeing Infrared images for a while now and I got a price on a 5D converted to 590nm that was just too good to be true. Now I have the camera and I am scratching my head. I understand it will take some heavy conversion, but does anyone have any tips for getting the WB the best for the images, when to shoot, when not to shoot, best conversion software etc? I have LR, Gimp, and PSE, I'm probably going to invest in Nik soon and really start upping my post production game. I've have been a shooter for a long time, but now I really want to start to challenge myself and raise to the next level. Any tips or techniques, please lay them on!

A) Leave house.

B) Take various shots.

C) Repeat as necessary.

I just converted an old Panasonic TZ5 to "full spectrum" and that's what I intend to do as soon as several different IR filters arrive so I can explore several different IR wavelength variations.
