Micro adjustment 7D vs 7D mkII

This is not a question related only to the 7D mkII but for all camera's who can do micro adjustment in general.

I get with my 7D the following results:

300mm F4 MA = 7+
300mm F4 1.4tc MA = 8+

500mm F4 MA = 0
500mm F4 1.4tc MA = 1+

on the 7D mkII:

300mm F4 MA = 7+
300mm F4 1.4tc MA = 8+

500mm F4 MA = 7+
500mm F4 1.4tc MA = 3+

I used the moire MA and the tethered MA explained on the link below.

I have on the 7D tested 5 lenses and always got a +1 difference with the TC above the lens MA.

Was I thinking wrong to get the same +1 difference for the TC in combination with the same lenses on a different camera in this case the 7D mkII.
