Fine set, Rodger.. heavy artillery at work? (1st shot) - good results loaded with great detail, ;) damselfly is also mine winner, love composition, colors and reflections - thank you for sharing, ;) ..

Cheers,

Beautiful shot John!! I love this type of shallow DOF photography when it comes of closeup. I really like this.

Haha, it took me a second to figure out what this is. Interesting shot, effective in the monochromatic look.

That is a beautiful image all around! Colors, detail, texture, composition, all working perfectly.

What an interesting image! Very different from butterflies mating. Great find too, they blend in so well!!!

Ladybug on fire, Gordon? (just kidding) .. well composed, vibrant colors, ;) .. nice work, thank you for sharing..

Best regards,

What an wonderful image of a tough looking bug! Maybe they are making a comeback? I hope so.

Great catch of the fly in flight! I know that is hard to do! We have damselflies that look like that. I think most of them are females.

Thanks Rodger. Is my damsel similar to the you captured? Mine is a female, while the male is brilliant blue.

Beautiful set, Yuki.. lovely captures well composed and presented, second shot is my winner - lovely colors and soft feel created by fluffy seedpods, ;) .. thank you for sharing and thanks for running today macro show, :D ..

Best regards,
