Photography is all about composition, lighting, and timing - and you nailed all 3 with that shot. Doesn't matter what equipment you were using. That was a well deserved 1st - congratulations.
 
Saw that off to the side and thought I hope I can get one like that someday not realizing you took it Greyser - great work!

Congrats, Greyser--that is an awesome image! Even I voted for it as outstanding (and I was 'competing' against you).

Your picture is so well done in its own right, and and I have a special appreciation for what it takes to capture an image like that with a Pentax, though I have not used the K-3.

I often forget about the Challenges here but I've tossed in a couple shots to keep myself in the game.

How long did you hold out until to catch this target (i.e. wait for the eagle AND wait for the fish :-D) ?
