There is a winsome kindness about the sister that is wonderful! The whole image is very strong but gentle as well. Processing excellent. . .

Please accept my apologies for editing your image, but it seemed more effective to demonstrate my suggestion by illustration.

While I certainly have no knowledge of your artistic intentions, might I suggest you consider a a possible alternate composition.

I enjoyed your gallery, in particular the image of the old man facing the high chair. :)

"Sick cultures show a complex of symptoms such as you have named...but a dying culture invariable exhibits personal rudeness. Bad manners. Lack of consideration for others in minor matters. A loss of politeness, of gentle manners is more significant than a riot."
This symptom is especially serious in that an individual displaying it never thinks of it as a sign of ill health but as proof of his/her strength. ...Friday, it is too late to save this culture--this worldwide culture... Therefore we must now prepare the monasteries for the coming Dark Age. Electronic records are too fragile..."

- Thanks, that's a good one… I'll mull over it!

In the original, Mother Maria appears to balance the cross on her head, which adds to the somewhat whimsical overall effect… But yeah, moving it is an idea!
