An excellent view on the Grand Canyon and as bonus.... the clouds. I have been there at least 10 times but was unable to get anything else than clear blue skies. Your picture is great, for my taste, I think it would become more spectacular if you increase a bit the colour saturation to give it more punch.... my taste only. :-)

Robiro i live in the netherlands. 50% or more of my small country lies below sealevel. The second picture shows a farmers field outerbound of the river dike. The river ijssel is not showing in this picture it is at the right not in view. In autumn and spring we need more space for water. This is a floodplain.

If the river can't handle the exces water the plains can.

;)

Thanks michel i had no tripod with me the second one my fz was not wide enough 2 frame stich might have worked better. I was a bit shaky that day so no handhelds for stiching.

Nhell thank you for joining our landscape thread. I won't host it every week but try to keep it regular.

Do join the club. I guess your homecountry has some great landscapes to share with us.

friendly greets

Nice take Serge agree with michel about the 3/s shutter! Might bump in a tad of clarity?

Thanks for keeping the thread alive Lee. Like how the sunlight spreads below the clouds. I really need a better DR camera.

I feel a bit humble with my old fz right now Ron. Thanks for sharing they are fantastic.

I guess your standing on it Bruno! Lol I really like taking pictures standing on bridges for the overview.

People or police harrass you sometimes but i don't care...

I like the clean water. Almost drinkable. There is a little hopping bridge in the distance hopping rock to rock to cross. The light and distance mountains and luscious leaves close are helping too. Well i better quit dreaming about luscious landscapes living in a city.

;)

Another great one composition and slow water. Michel it has the looks of a jungle except for ground vegitation. lol

What are these wood structures on the right?

Like it but might try a little less vivid colours with a little more clarity to counterweight desaturating in processing?

thats just my personal thinking bout colours on this one. YMMV. Everybody has different taste.

Bizzy urban scape arround londen i guess trafford? Trafalger? I would clown out the top railing in post processing; from the overwalk.

Like it.

Been a long time Brian; might that be a lx100?

These idians come in old forms. Used to be tabacco shop advertisers from early 1800 onwards...

Some are expensive....collector items.

Nice take .. Cheers!

Smokers we are a dieying out specy....

Not a LX100 yet. We start to get them here in the USA during November.
