Great colours, contrast & detail!

Definitely a keeper!

My hair is continuously changing. It's been shaved several times in the last few years. Here's an example from November, 2001.

Here's the current version

(I'm the one on the right)

The gent on the left is the gallery owner in Cleveland where I've been showing. I wish I had a "cool" smile like he does. Mine's just goofy.

I'm curious, which one do you prefer? Don't worry, you won't "force my hand". I won't be shaving my head over the summer, but who knows about the fall...

Depends on which decade you are trying to represent -- current or the '70's. ((grin))

OT but never did ask -- I know any publicity is good, but do you consider your Cle show a success? Hope so!

...just stand next to one who is (my wife-to-be)!

I'm standing next to my future wife, Kellie. We'll be married on Oct 5th this year. Why, I even have a pic of my wedding band with her name engraved on it just for proof!

There was a great self-portrait post by Stefan Bock here:

Muriel, that's a wonderful family picture! but tell yer hubby to relax a little, he looks so 'stressed' just kidding That is a very pleasant composition, the lighting is great, and very sharp - good for you!

unfortunately it seems to be my brains that're keeping me single - men are always threatened by a smart woman - guess they figure they can't get away with much! Girlfriends have told me to "dumb down" and I'll snag me one, but I just can't do it! Besides, living alone means the whole king sized bed is mine, the toilet seat & LID! stay down, and no one eats the last piece of chocolate... not a bad life LOL

Gimme a chance ;-) it may take awhile, I've been working long hours and its about 99 degrees in my apartment (no a/c, and we're finally having a heatwave here) so the last thing I want to do when I get home is set up a photo shoot! I know, excuses excuses LOL. Maybe i can dig up something old...

Nag, nag, nag. LOL - I'll work on it in the morning outside in front of the roses. I honestly don't have anything recent.

And excuse me, but I didn't see a sign of a double chin OR wrinkles on you!!!!!
Come on, I did it - with double chins, and wrinkly eyes and all!!!
Come on, fork it over RIGHT NOW!!!! You're not playing fair! LOL

Does the word 'cougar' spring to mind!! LOL Seriously, prefer your hair shorter, not shaved though, because it then allows your eyes to show, and you've got great, clear eyes with a nice colour - let em show!

it was my first solo show in Cleveland and half the show sold. Next time, perhaps the whole show will sell! LOL I swing back and forth between caring and not caring about sales (but, getting checks changes your mind). I'm in full "painting tornado" mode right now. I have 3 paintings in progress and lots more to do. I just finished preparing about 20 panels, so I'm "armed and dangerous".

Oh, about the 70's, my present hair is more like the early nineties, more Kurt Cobain fall in my face stuff. I had it brushed back in the photo. You know, one reason I've gotten away from the shorty hair or the shaved head because it's just too normal these days--even shaved and shiny. I'm not crazy about "normal". I figure, as long as I'm still able to grow it, I might as well play a bit.
