Anyone got/using a dedicated extension tube set, ie not the full size ones via the FT1 adaptor.

If so, which make and what CX lenses are you using with the tubes ???

Thanks.

Thanks for reply and link Ross, I had found several versions on the UK site you mentioned. Strangely, of the various reviews regarding the tube sets, there appears to be concerns raised about the tight fit which you also mentioned.

On FM, one individual has a set of images showing deep gouging of the contact pins, after being attached to another brand of camera !! Perhaps because of the price, the machining tolerances are not as fine. Good to see you have had success with slide copying, thanks again for response.

I have a set obtained from Amazon. The box shows the brand as MOVO Photo, EXT-NM47; AF Macro Extension tube set for NIkon 1 AW1,J1,J2, J3, S1. V1, V2 Mirrorles cameras with 10mm, 16mm & 21mm Tubes (metal Mount).

I have used them with all my lenses. Mounts are a bit tight but otherwise fine. One fun application is the 32mm lens + 16mm tube + Nikon slide copier(ES-1) will make copies of 35mm slides .... faster than a scanner and the face detection works for people in the slides, too.

Here is a link to the ones that I bought:
