Thank you, Mark, for looking and commenting!Augustin,
Colors look good to me #4 looks very sharp.
Thank you, John, for looking and commenting!Glad to see you experimenting. The last image is nice and sharp, did you handhold?
John
Thank you, Mike, for looking and commenting!Hi Augustin,
Some great shots there. You're convincing me that the P600 may be the replacement for my Canon SX50
Does the Nikon have a sweep-panorama mode like the Sony HX400?
Also, how does the video quality of the P600 compare to the SX50?
Cheers,
Mike.
I didn't remark a soft touch at the telephoto end of P600. Nor can I say the zoom been more sluggish or more focus hunting in low light than SX50. The IS is definitely better than SX50.I'm going to only get one camera, since I can't justify spending $$$ on two very similar cameras
I've been reading reviews on the P600 and many mention that at the long end of the zoom the focus is "very slow" - is this what you find?
I've also read that the shots can be soft at both extremes of the zoom - again, what do you think? (your shots seem sharp enough).
Cheers,
Mike.
Thank you very much, Steve!Great sharp shot at full zoom.
Cheers
Steve.
Hi again,I didn't remark a soft touch at the telephoto end of P600. Nor can I say the zoom been more sluggish or more focus hunting in low light than SX50. The IS is definitely better than SX50.
But, considering all the facts, my advice is to get an SX50. As a bonus, being an old model, you can get it cheaper than P600.
All the best,
Augustin
Thank you very much! I'm happy you like my examples! Yes, the IQ and IS in bright light are better than those of SX50, but... I don't know, I have to know that camera better.Nice work Augustin, showing the reasons I bought the P600, long zoom, great IS, and one of the best IQ's for a superzoom.
