Super sharp, very quick, well made, lightweight, reasonably inexpensive.
I use it on a DX camera so it acts as 75mm (effective), which is great for portraits. I get really nice bokeh at lower f/stops.
I find it even sharper than much more expensive lenses and focuses twice as fast.
One thing I wish it had is quick switch-to-manual focus like the 1.8g has.
Other than that, Its an amazing prime lens for lowlight and portraiture (on DX). behaves fabulously indoors.
For about 100 bucks, thats one of the best deals from nikon!
