This is called "editorial 'we'" and is an established and OK way to write.

I paid in the past nearly 6000 on my D3... soon very soon the D700 was released.

Then I paid nearly 6000 on a D4. I DO hope the same never ever happens again.

I do agree though we need something better than the Canon Mk3, for less than 3000 Euros.

The Canon 5D MkIII's list price is €3300. In Nikon made something better (it already has, by the way), why would it give it a list price less the €3000? And in what sense do you 'need' it, or are you confusing 'want' and 'need'?

Why not simply buy Df????

Because the Df doesn't have other things that I wanted [like excellent AF]. And it has a retro-look that I was gonna tire of fast.

I still have a couple of old Nikon F bodies that I can take out and hold for a few minutes to remember why I don't want to hold them for a few hours...
