Is there a way to share White Balance settings?

I have a couple of Fuji cameras converted to IR. I have tried to WB them to the same settings, and while close, they are not the same.

Is there any way to share the identical WB settings between two cameras? It is extremely frustrating to see the differences.

Thanks to anyone who has the solution.

You didn't say how you tried to WB them to the same settings. Have you tried using the Kelvin option and setting them both to the same temp?

If you have created a custom WB, then I don't think there is a way to copy that custom WB to a different camera.

For jpegs i don't know but for raws suffice it to save a profile, a preset or a style (C1) and to use it for both cameras.

Problem is that the Kelvin setting does not go low enough for an IR image (which is less than 2000k).

Setting them to the same WB using the same grey card is not close enough as the images have different casts to them.

Further, how would you copy the C1 setting between cameras? What I am trying to do is essentially copy the WB settings (custom) from one camera to another. This includes both the color temp (exactly) as well as the Tint settings.

Has to b a way to accomplish this.

There is no way to copy a custom white balance from one camera to another. I think your best chance for matching them is to create a custom white balance on each camera and then try using the "WB Shift" feature to get them closer.

Other ideas: Have you checked all JPEG settings (e.g. film, color, shadow, highlight) to ensure they are all the same? Which 2 cameras are you using? If they are different models (X-E1 & X-E2 for example) you could be seeing slight differences in the color profiles. Have you tried setting both cameras to ProNeg Std?

If none of the above helps, then you might have to consider shooting raw, at which point the in-camera WB setting becomes irrelevant.

I am shooting RAW. The in-camera WB is not irrelevant as Most RAW convertors will not go down to the color temp of IR. Once the cameras are set identically, I can then create a camera profile for each which is identical. Problem is that camera profiles are unique to each camera.

You could try using one of the raw converters that does. CaptureOne goes down to 800. Adobe products are generally considered to be a poor choice for IR.

I think you mean that camera profiles are unique to each camera model. Did you try the "WB Shift" function?

Your original post was lacking many of these details, so I made a recommendation based on the limited information you provided. I was trying to help. The answer to your initial question is still: No, you can't copy a custom WB from one camera to another.
