Very nice. I particularly like the second shot. The ducks of course are lovely, but that water looks so clear and inviting. It's just one of those shots where apart from being "just" technically good it is also very appealing.

This koala had literally fallen out of the tree so was a bit bemused. Note: koalas are marsupials hence they are NOT bears! So please refer to the subject of this photo as a koala.

I was wondering why you didn't get the FZ1000 since your pics from the FZ150 were always fabulous. I've battled whether or not to get the GX7, but..... #1 finances are extremely tight, and #2 I an told that there is no half pressing the shutter button to get focus like other cameras. Is this true? I do like the fact that it can be connected to a tablet to get a larger view for taking shots.

If it pleases you then to hell what everyone else thinks!
Not true Karen, the half shutter works just like other cameras. I found a brand new one for a great price on eBay. It has a great EVF, tilting and very bright. The body is a bit heavy though. And it has so many advanced features, I still don't know what most of them do!!

i still love my FZ150. If it ever dies, I'll replace it with the 1000 (it maybe FZ3000 by that time!). It's a bit too expensive for me, I would have to sell bunch of old gear.

Thanks! All credit goes to Mr Goldfinch.

As for the OMD-EM1. Pricey. Yes. I snagged my used from BH Photo - saving enough money to get a 4/3 adapter and a sweet 17mm f1.8 lens. Also used.

I am very fond of the OMD-EM1, but I am fairly sure that I would be just fond of the EM10. The only reason I pounced on the EM 1 is my 3 Panasonic Leica D 4/3 lenses and a few Oly 4/3 lenses. The EM1 is reported to handle the old 4/3 lenses better than the rest of the micro 4/3 cameras. And, I have been very happy with how well the EM-1 auto-focuses .

Gorgeous shot. He's a big boy, I would hate to get him mad at me!

Very cool lighting on the deer. What kind of animal is the first one? Looks like our raccoon but different.

Those are bright happy shots nico! The trick is to focus on the flower which you anticipate the hummer to go to.

Nice catch, and thanks to Vickie for the ID. Never seem them before!
