FSE11 Panorama - greyed out?

FSE 11 Panorama - greyed out?

On the drop down list /enhance/photomerge Panorama is greyed out while the other option are available.

This has happened recently whereas it was previously available and was used. No longer so.

I have been in touch with Adobe and one of their discussion groups but that did not bring a solution and Adobe would not enter into a discussion over the phone regarding FSE. I have checked out general queries on the internet but they have not helped.

I run both a Mac and PC and it works fine on the PC. It’s the Mac that is causing the problem.

Can anyone who has had and overcome this problem help.

Hello, you need to be in 'Expert" mode. I have just checked in E12 and it is grated out in Quick and Guided modes.

I have been in Expert mode and have been through that and similar suggestions from the Adobe [Barbara B] person.

I am coming to the conclusion that this is specific to me and not a general problem.

Hi Paul, are your images in 16 bit. Elements has very limited editing in 16 bit. Go to Image > Mode

You can also click on the name "Photoshop Elements Editor" > Preferences > Plugins Try clicking Reset You may need to restart Elements after changing preferences.

Photomerge is a plugin so the only other thing I can think of is that it has a piece missing so as a last hope try a reinstall. But I would back up the organiser first.

I finally bit the bullet and un/reinstalled and Photo-merge/Panorama is now available.
