RX100 M3 Cases...

Try stretching the case with the camera out of it. I am even able to tuck the wrist strap on top of camera for storage. I hope it works for you. It's such a great case.
Thanks, I will. I agree. Very nice case.

the lowepro ridge 30 is what i've used for my rx100 ever since i got it and the m3 fits in it perfectly with only room to spare to stuff in my wrist strap. but a front pockets holds two spare batteries and up to 4 or 5 memory cards. just about perfect for an absolutely minimal case, imo.
I just ordered a lowepro rezo 30, and it looks like it is going to be very good as well. I don't have the camera or the case yet, so I can't say for sure.

I carry my RX100M3 in a Rezo 30. It fits, but it is a very tight fit. I wouldn't squeeze a spare battery in the outside pocket. The belt attachment system is nice, with velcro and an additional security button.
I was thinking the Rezo 50 might not be too big for the RX100 Mk3, 2 spare batteries, 2 spare cards and a magfilter CPL. Franiac grip too.

Like others here I prefer a belt loop which is velcrod or poppered so I don't have to undo my belt to carry the camera. In fact I think that's a must for me.

And lastly, if you prefer the way the horizontal holster wear around your waste as I do, you can have the benefit of both with a little bit of DIY.

Osh, Lowes and Home Depot should have them in stock.
VERY interesting. I think I'll try it. Thanks!

Can't say enough about the Op/Tech. http://optechusa.com/pouches/soft-pouch-snappeez.html Very comfortable, easy in and out, weighs very little.
Which size fits the m3? I have one of their sleeves (not the snappeez model) and found it to be so tight that it took two hands and a lot of effort to wrangle the camera into it. Thanks in advance.
I have the large, it I think its too small. The top cover doesn't go all the way closed, and the camera is just too deep for the case.

I would love to see someone post a picture of the M3 fitting in this case.

I carry my RX100M3 in a Rezo 30. It fits, but it is a very tight fit. I wouldn't squeeze a spare battery in the outside pocket. The belt attachment system is nice, with velcro and an additional security button.
I just bought a Rezo 30 for my RX100iii, I believe LowePro may have discontinued it. I found one on clearance for $4 at a local store

yes, it's definitely a snug fit, but it works for me.

The main compartment just fits the camera but you probably wouldn't want to use the outside pocket for anything. You *could* fit a spare SD card or maybe a battery there but IMO that bulks up the overall size too much. I don't plan to use the outside pocket myself.

I would have preferred something shaped like the smaller Rezo 15 which lacks the outside pocket, and closes with a velcro flap instead of zipper for a slimmer overall package. but of course the Rezo 15 is too small for the RX100iii

the velcro+snap sliplock attachment is very secure for wearing on your belt or attaching to a bigger camera bag attachment point. the pouch comes with a thin shoulder strap as well.

here's a few pics of the Rezo 30 + RX100 iii:

look promising. But according to the specifications inside is only 3 cm depth.

Does the RX100m3 really fit smotthly?

Ape Case AC120 on amazon -- nylon so durable, belt loop that is not bulky, and perfect interior dimensions still allowing easy retrieval. Better than other nonbulky options I've seen recommended thus far, except for the tight-fit neoprene ones.

I have a Tamrac 5691. It is not as small as the Apecase but has a zippered case on the front where I carry two spare batteries, another SD card and a lens cloth in a little ziplock bag. The flap is secured by a plastic snap in lock common on many cases today. I would like it a little smaller but I like having the front storage.

I have the Lowepro Tahoe 10. Snug fit and well padded. Outside pocket for a battery. Belt loop and zipper. Small enough to still fit in my pocket. That's why I prefer zipper over Velcro closure because it is less bulk.

I mentioned the Lowepro Rezo 30 in my previous post fits my RX100iii, albeit quite snugly.

I was rummaging through my closet and came across various old Sliplock accessory pouches that I have for other full-size Lowepro camera bags that I own, and I found a pouch that fits the RX100iii nicely without feeling too snug, with some room to spare for spare batteries, etc

The Sliplock "S&F Pouch 10" was part of Lowepro's Street & Field modular accessory system. Looks like this particular pouch was discontinued when they updated the S&F product line a few years ago, but I notice there still seem to be a few retailers that say they have them, at least here in Canada (e.g thecamerastore)

here's a pic of the Sliplock Pouch 10 with the previously described Rezo 30 for size comparison:

Lowepro Sliplock S&F Pouch 10 (top), RX100iii, Lowepro Rezo 30 (bottom)
Lowepro Sliplock S&F Pouch 10 (top), RX100iii, Lowepro Rezo 30 (bottom)

like the Rezo 30, the Pouch 10 has secure "Sliplock" belt loop attachment, which is a rigid flap that closes with large swatch of velcro and has a secondary velco flap that closes over that for security (a button snap instead of 2nd velcro in the case of the Rezo 30). This makes wearing on a belt or attaching to another bag very convenient and comfortable - compared to a closed loop which you'd have to undo your belt to attach. The Sliplock flap is also quite secure, not likely to accidentally come loose.

The interior dimensions of the Pouch 10 fit the RX100iii height and depth almost exactly, although the case interior is about 3.5cm deeper than the width of the camera. So the camera slides in very easily, but there is room to spare... You can see there is a drawstring hood over the opening in addition to a velcro flap to close the pouch.

RX100iii inserted part way into Sliplock Pouch 10. Camera height and lens-depth fit nicely

There's enough extra room at the bottom of the Pouch 10 to store a spare battery or two and extra memory cards. I cut a small piece of foam (~1.5cm thick) to serve as a divider, inserting the spare battery/SD cards into the pouch first, then the camera after the foam. This fills the interior of the pouch nicely. There's also a mesh outer pocket on the front of the pouch.

Sliplock Pouch 10 will fit the RX100ii + spare battery (or two) + spare memory card inside

The Pouch 10 is certainly not the smallest pouch that will fit the RX100ii, but it fits the camera comfortably with room to spare for extra batteries/SD cards. Meanwhile the Rezo 30 is perhaps slightly more snug that some people will be happy with, has no room for spares, but is very wearable on a belt. The Pouch 10 is a bit big for wearing on a belt IMO but is very comfortable to carry with the included shoulder strap.

now, if only there were a S&F Pouch 7.5, or a Rezo 35 ... :)

I've been to several shops, ordered several from Amazon, and for me the best case/pouch is also the Lowepro Tahoe 10. It fits snugly and perfectly, not too tight and not too loose unlike everything else I've tried. Importantly there are no Velcro flaps too add bulk as mentioned. I prefer to keep batteries in their plastic cases loose in my pocket. There isn't really room in the small pocket for anything else other than a memory card or two. My Sony 64GB card will hold over 2,000 RAW+JPG files, so what I really need to carry are several spare batteries and I really don't want the bulk of trying to stuff several batteries in a belt case. So for me the winner is the Lowepro Tahoe 10 by a wide margin.

I'm using "Case Logic" and it fits perfect. It too has a front zipper pouch for batteries and memory cards. Very strong sewn in strap for wearing on your belt.

Sorry, the DCB302 is the model number of the "Case Logic" case I'm using.

Got a Rezo 50 (£9.99 from Argos delivered, UK). A tiny bit baggy for the RX100 MkIII without Franiec grip (I've not moved mine over yet). But plenty of room for 2 x spare batts in the main compartment and 2 x spare SD cards + 1 CPL mag filter in the front compartment.

Regards

Bill

I just bought a Sony LCS-CSU, which I like a lot. It's a bit larger than the Case Logic and Lowepro cases, but it holds the RX100 III with room to spare and has two front pockets. The larger one will hold at least three batteries or a couple of filters, the smaller is good for a battery and several SD cards in their cases.

It comes with a shoulder strap, will also attach to a wide strap on a camera, messenger bag or your belt, and can be used with a carabiner.
