other than the tendency to back focus... it is very very sharp lens :)

but i do miss not having OSS at this focal length.

Thanks :) worked on it for awhile now.

2 out of your 3 photos are of the backs of people only; does one call this style of street "backfocus street" I wonder. Street by itself would want to show faces, though, I think ...

It is probably my personal taste.. but i was trying to find that mood.. and i felt like i achieved that better with those subjects facing back then front in those specific instances.

Hmm.. this is probably leaning more towards travel then street... was pondering about this for awhile now. Difficult to categorize photos nowadays.

Thanks for the input :)

I really enjoyed this set. The composition and the tones are fantastic!

Some of my favs are "Contemplation","Meditative" and "Timeless Traveler"

Cheers!

I think he was just trying to joke about the comment about "backfocus".

O lawl... Thanks :)

I like the photos where the people have their back to the camera. They seem to be observing the same scene that the camera is recording, but from a different perspective. I am drawn to visualize their viewpoint and imagine their reaction.

... Technically, they are excellent. Clearly, an excellent camera/ lens combination.

... Compositionally. The first is excellent. A strong subject in the composition. However, the other two have weak subjects in the composition. A weak composition is when the subject is almost lost in the photograph- competing for attention with other elements.

Hmmm I actually tried to blend the subject into the background element... i thought i could achieve that calm mood better in those specific instances.. Maybe it was little too much.

Thanks :D
