Thanks for the ID.

3 and 4 are remarkably good for a lens with, I believe, a flaky reputation.

Between you and me, while no-one else is reading, did you emphasise the blur?
Not at all. WB and tonal adjustments, cropping, a drop of NR, and masked sharpening.

Here's a wider vantage on the two juveniles at 85mm, a lazy rough finish. I'm rather giddy with what can be done then at 300mm with a bit of a crop. It's not 12-40 quality, but I'll take it. [g]

thank you. You are too kind

thank you. Taking the sourroundings of the subject into the picture and big skies are a little bit a trademark in my pictures. An other point of view was not possible at that moment, i only had one lens with me and i couldn't go were i wanted too. It was this, or not taking the shot.

Eryngium. I spelt it wrong.

That looks like a great spot. I like the windswept trees. Fascinating place. And I can confirm that's how I often feel after a day's fishing.

Hmmm. suddenly I need one. Just when I thought I had all the lenses I needed for a while.

I try to get uptown once a week and just take a few hours around lunch time when there are a lot of people out. I will take a shot of someone working when ever I can. They often will look up and see that I have just taken their photo and some will ask why, and I say I like to take pictures of people working.

I take lots of photos of people setting up their shops for lunch. I often will take photos of servers as they set their tables for the lunch crowd. Here a man is in the process of cleaning the window on the front door. He has just looked up and seen me.

Hi There Geoff

Thank you very much for the feedback. Yes the 3rd one does not really belong, and I added it as an afterthought because I liked the structure so much.

Complete overkill for one guy to sit on top of and watch a small area of beach. Great thing though!

An excellent response to their question. Hard to argue with it.

Sounds like a Beatles title doesn't it? :)

Nice shot, nice place. Maybe crop a touch off the bottom to give it a wider vibe?

Just beautiful. Good title too.
