Very nice and sharp photos.

Results are really nice Ron. Looks like the Sigma 100-300 partners well with the new TC.

Darn fine series. I really like that Sigma 100-300 F 4 lens. It even looks as good with the new teleconverter. I just need to ask one question about that lens. When I use mine the Exif says the following: D-EXNON 50-200mm F4-5.6 ED. What is going on with this?

I have no idea what mine reads. I have never seen any lens types in any EXIF that I can read.

My lens is the Sigma 100-300/4 APO EX DG. Perhaps you have the previous version of the lens and it needs to be sent to Sigma to be re-chipped. Even if mine reads D-EXNON 50-200mm F4-5.6 ED, which I have no idea if it does or not, I am not going to worry about those things. Never have and never will.

Great series Ron.

Very nice series indeed Ron!

Very nice , and quite sharp.

Thanks for demonstrating that this TC + sig 100-300 f4 combo can be used to track BIF.

Wonder if you did same with say the DA300 F4 ?

Cheers

You are most welcome.

I havn't taken anything with the DA*300/4 + Pentax 1.4X HD AW that I want to post. I have tracked with that combo though as well as with the DA*60-250/4 + Pentax 1.4X HD AW.

There are plenty of other folks that have posted tracking with the DA*300/4 + Pentax 1.4X HD AW so I figured I would do other things for now. :-)

Ron, Does Sigma make/sell that 100-300 any more? It was once available in K-mount? Now they sell a 120-300/2.8 I bet that's a winner. I didn't see K-mount but couldn't afford it anyway, so, whatever. :-)

Nice shots though, thanks for posting.

The Sigma 100-300/4 is no longer made for any mount.

The Sigma 120-300/2.8 was once sceduled for release in K-mount but things changed and now it will not be made in K-mount.
Nice shots though, thanks for posting.
Thanks and you are welcome Petroglyph.
