Ocean Walk with Kodak C663 #1

Along the ocean we have what is called the Promenade (or Prom for short). It's about a mile in length. This morning I walked about 3/4 of the way and then back of course meaning about 1 and 1/4 miles. I took my little C663 with me and took several images so you could see Walk #2. I'll show a few in two threads.

that was a good one... saying you got 'side tracked' and then posted that picture of the path cutting through the long grasses going out to wards the ocean. Looks like a pic from Martha's Vineyard.

the thing that your pics show off is how the man made goes so far and then it stopped... and then we see the 'wild' just as nature intended, more or less. Sorta like plan A and plan B neat contrast.

oh.. and it was very interesting (I'm not just spouting off) to see these neighborhood pics. I wish the rest of our gang could do something like it.

Me too. And that is exactly WHY I posted them; to give a view of my neighborhood. More to come.
 
Very nice series of well balanced images with good composition and colors. It's been many years since I've visited your area and when it's high 90's or more here in Sacramento, I just may have to load the kayak and Border Collie and experience that gorgeous Oregon coastline.

Thanks, Jim. And to tell you the truth, there are many times during the rainy seasons here on the coast that Lin and I would love to experience the sunshine of Sacramento!
 
James you sure have some lovely scenery there...& ya know what, I would have got side-tracked also & took the path to the ocean...what a view!!! :-)
