Looks like one of the Greek Islands in Europe looking over to Turkey in Asia.

My guess would be KOS.
 
I agree with Trafford. I think this is the Greek Orthodox church in the village of Kia, about ten miles (16 Kms) south east of Kos, on the island of Kos. If I am correct, I defer to Trafford, who was first to identify the island, which was our original challenge.
