I did a "blue hour" long exposure shot of old the Ottawa City Hall. I was surprised when I showed it to some fellow Ottawa residents they didn't know what it was.

Rather distinctive architecture to me and a great setting.

Outstanding composition and processing. And there's a lot more. Everyone should click through to the Flickr page.

That was kind of you. I tried something not "Ottawa" today and went for Bavaria :-)

Totally agree. Some great shots in the Flickr page.

A beautiful collection. I'm afraid I didn't get through all of them. I noticed the modern hanging lights on this one because they hang into view on my shots of the organ.

Not to be persnickety but in case others might wonder how to find this magnificent little cathedral, it's the Dom zu St. Jakob/Cathedral of St. James in Innsbruck. The interior is stunning while the exterior is rather plain - and hard to shoot as it's on just a very small square.

So that isn't the one in the Abbey at Oberamergau? We were in Innsbruk for just an afternoon and I took so many photos I lost track of what church was which. Thanks much for the correction.

I can see that being an easy thing to do. Innsbruck isn't that far away from Oberammergau. We also weren't in Innsbruck long and from the info on the various tourist guide sites, there look to be a lot of really pretty churches throughout the area. Since we were early on our trip and still getting adjusted to the time after the flight, we only caught two while in Innsbruck. Don't ask me how my daughter kept track of the churches she visited while in Italy. the mind boggles.
