Just got notification that my A77II camera body that I pre-ordered from B&H on May 1st shipped today. It was originally supposed to ship on Tuesday and looked like it was going to make it out for shipment yesterday, but that didn't happen.
So it is great that it is shipping, but a shame that the delivery attempt will be tomorrow when I am not home to sign for it. So I will need to reschedule the delivery for Monday. It would have been if I was able to use it this Father's Day weekend.

FedEx and UPS will hold for pickup at thier facility just call them with tracking

If their facility was closer, that wouldn't be a problem. But the warehouses they ship out from is 1.5 hours away from me, one way. So I would have to set aside at least 3 hours on a work day to do this, time that I don't have available in my schedule.
I'll just have to wait until Monday. Meanwhile, I will continue to use my still great A77. ;-)

Yes, I realized it was three business days and that would have made it Monday the 16th instead of Tuesday the 17th. I spoke to B&H and although they emailed me that it had been shipped, it had only been packaged and had a UPS label made up for it. The camera won't actually ship until tomorrow, hence the Tuesday arrival date. So they received the camera Tuesday morning and sent a message to the warehouse to get the package ready for shipment. Today they put it in a box and got a UPS label for it. Tomorrow it will actually ship.

Your image just proves what I just said, that FedEx delivers on Saturdays. UPS does not without it being a special delivery type or a premium is paid.
Amazon can be a tricky place and how the rules play out can vary from seller to seller. Amazon themselves, a marketplace, one whose orders are fulfilled by Amazon, or the particular product itself can all have slightly different guidelines and options on shipping.
Either way, it is no matter if I have to wait until Monday to get my camera since I am unavailable to accept shipment tomorrow. My weekend is pretty tied up with Father's Day stuff. Next week I can afford more time to play with it since I'll be staying home the later part of the week, taking it easy from some outpatient surgery.

Don't be afraid to let the camera reformat the card as this is normal behavior. It will probably do it with your new card as well.

Yes, Reformatting will delete those images. Down load them to your computer. When you first use this or your new card the camera will give you the same message that it needs to create a database select yes or Enter and proceed. Once you've downloaded the images from your card and put it back into the camera you should reformat it in the camera. Yes the image files will be deleted but you have them on your computer. Note re-formatting in your camera to delete the files is somehow better than deleting or re-formatting on a pc. Forget why but, it is. I do this every time.
