Epson 850Z firmware upgradable?

I love my Epson 850Z. But one thing I would like to know. Some digicams like the Nikon 950 are configured so one can upgrade the software inside

the camera. Is the Epson 850Z designed this way? I'm just wondering if any bugs fixes or improvements are developed if they can be obtained by a

simple downloadable upgrade instead of sending in the camera to Epson. The Nikon 950 has already had 2 firmware upgrades/bug fixes that I
know of in its first 9 months of existance.

It seems to me that I read in the manual somewhere that the 'file uploader' program can be used for this.
