I find the last one the best!

Tell me what you think.
I Think:
  • Is this a Joke !?
  • I want to click on the Ignore Button.
  • Low IQ from this (Cell Phone).
  • I don't like the Colors, Light in the 1. & 2. Photo.
  • I don't like the Color Artefacts in Her Hair in the 3.Photo.
Wish:
  • The Colors, Light, Sharpness and IQ would be a lot better.
  • You would use a good Digital Camera.

First and third shots are very good; nice poses and natural expression. In each cases I'd remove a little of the empty space either side and make the picture squarer. The second pic isn't as good; a rather awkward pose (elbows stick out) and very odd white balance making it look green. I'd lose that one - but 1 and 3 are great.

And, as others have said. your model is beautiful.

Best wishes

Nice photos. The middle one really needs to be color balanced to be as warm looking ad the other two. It is just too blue, plain and simple

Other than that I'd just like to see the smile lines smoothed out a bit in post processing.

OK let me comment before I am influenced by what others have written, but what do I know so don't take this to heart. It takes a certain amount of courage to put your images out for public comment. The unvarnished truth follows:

Gorgeous model, great hair, beautiful smile. Pity about the black dress with white polka dots really overwhelms and dominates the model.

PIC #1: Camera too low shooting upwards into the models nostrils. Flat lighting does nothing for her looks. Half open eyes not too good. Plain white background makes the dress even more dominant. Limbs awkwardly positioned positioned

PIC #2: Terrible cyan colour cast on my monitor. Better angle but again flat lighting makes it look like a mug shot even with the better facial expression. Still need to watch the position of those limbs.

PIC #3: Beautiful! congratulations! You nailed it. Possibly the less formal setting of natural light helped the model relax (A lesson in that alone). Also you minimised the polka dotted dress. Beautiful natural facial expression with charming smile. The lighting across the face gives pleasant tonal range. Nice out of focus background so as not to detract from the model. My suggestion is some crop left and right to remove unnecessary background and allow the face to dominate the scene. Too late now, but a bit more neck and upper body showing without displaying the dress would help balance the picture.

Don't take these or any other comments on there forums too seriously. These are good pictures and you should continue doing what you enjoy. Good luck.

She's beautiful.
She really is very beautiful. To me she has a good fashion taste, well maintained teeth and hair, she is not abusing the make up. But it is on the side of the model.

Gimmicks with the background are at photographer's responsibility and I have a lot of doubts abut it. You brutally pulled her from her natural environment. It's like kidnaping ...

By the way:

do you know who is selling spare front end caps for VCL-ECU1 ?

Ok thanks ill fix the 2nd one. I wanted to make it a bit different and didnt know what kind of tone to give so i tried cool.

Id be curious what ideas everyone comes up with.

As others have said the subject is very attractive.

(1) First off, she should lose the polka dot dress. It is the first thing you see rather than her beautiful face and figure. When I have someone come in for portraits, the first thing I tell them is no loud patterns.

(2) The poses in the studio pictures are awkward. Get a little angle on the body and have her look back at the camera.

(3) When I shoot against a white background, I like it all white. Personally I do not like the gradient lighting.

(4) The treatment in the second picture is not good.

(5) The last picture is pretty good. Nice use of natural lighting. I would have shot it in portrait instead of landscape. The empty space on the sides detracts from the picture.

Hope this helps. Keep at it.

Rude comments not necessary. Does it make you feel good to be rude or are you just a loser.

It probably does make them feel good, but why should they answer to you? Better to hear the harsh truth than to continue taking bad photo's.
It wasn't the truth and 1 & 3 aren't bad photos; 3 in particular is rather good. Carsten's comments were obnoxious, inaccurate and unnecessary.
