I don't know, but given that Chrome OS was designed as an ultra thin client (initially not much more than the Chrome browser) I think it pretty unlikely. It was intended for use with low power netbooks without the power to do heavy lifting and where processing would be done in the "cloud". Even a decent Android tablet will struggle to do photo editing (as distinct from sorting and selecting).
