Illegal, you are an amazing portait photographer. The models, the
expression, the light, ... everything is perfect! It's incredible that
you can make such interesting portraits of everyday people.

I was shocked to notice that this thread only got so few responses,
whereas all these bird pictures get so much reactions. Is it me or is
it this forum?

Your portraits are very emotional, yet, there is no outward show of emotion in most of your subjects. It's as if you are able to communicate their inner souls without using expressions.

I would not want to be one of your subjects because I would be afraid that you had somehow captured my soul!

Dude, you're like the only other photographer in Nikon SLR forum that I know who photographs people and does it good. I'm always checking your site every couple days to see if you got something new.

Hey Stefan, do you shoot professionally or are these portraits just what you do for a hobby?

Hello Vtie, in the mean time there are some answers :) I was away, to days. I noticed that flowers, birds and sunsets are more easy to look at,, serious portraits are not so easy, our brain has to work a little, its not only "oohh this is nice"

Hello Peter, there are no secrets, that's just normal daylight, I didn't used any reflectors, I thing it was at 1PM and very sunny, the location was a old farmer house with big open doors, enough light. ... 50mm 1,4

then at the PC some small NC3 corrections, in PS sharpening and contrast.
I took some colour out.
