Thanks. That's a great extension. I've already reverted to Firefox 24.5 ESR (Extended Support Release) in some of my OS installations, as that seemed like the fastest and easiest way to avoid the major UI changes made with Firefox 29.
That way (switching to the current ESR releaser of Firefox), I don't have to see drastic changes in the User Interface so often at the whim of the Mozilla developers, yet the ESR versions still get security updates.
But, I tried the Classic Theme Restorer add-on that you linked to with Firefox 29 in one Linux installation, and it seems to work fine, too. So, again, thanks for the tip about it.
In any event, again, I hate it when developers make those kinds of drastic changes to the User Interface. Do they think everyone is going to instantly feel comfortable with a totally new User Interface? Sheesh... They're nuts if they really think that way.
I've got lots of friends and family members that are not very computer literate. So, sure enough, just as they're becoming comfortable with using Firefox, BAM, the User Interface changes (drastically).
That's not a very good thing. Maybe they're looking at Microsoft as a role model (as in the UI changes made between Windows 7 and Windows 8). Or, maybe they're just trying to clone Google Chrome or something.
Whatever Mozilla's motives, I'm not very happy with the changes (and I'm sure they caught a lot of Firefox users "off guard", and they'll probably end up losing a lot of them as a result of this kind of nonsense in what appears to be an attempt to mimic Google Chrome).
