John there are some recent posts on the FX forum by M Lammerse on Nikon's upcoming cameras.
Michel has a very good history of providing teases and tid-bits of information on yet to be released Nikon's.
To quote him;
This September a lot will be clear for both Nikons' DX and FX future.
I see camera's as tools, and when I change in the D3S this year it will have well over 300.000 images taken and 3 rubber grips replaced
, But the D800 will be serving for a couple of years more, although I'm really looking forward to what Nikon is presenting coming September I don't need a new DX camera.
