Here are my three submissions, and an extra exhibition photo. All photos are posted 1200px wide.

A snap on a very calm beach, with no one in sight except me and my family, the RX100 did well getting enough color in the sky. I could have opened up the shadows easily in post, but I preferred to keep them as is.

This photo was taken during sunset where I live, I boosted the colors of the sky a little, and increased the blacks to darken the buildings/cars, however I didn't darken them enough to keep some reflections on the cars for context.

I am always fascinated by the shadows and patterns of light on my living room curtains near sunset, I took a few photos, and this one is my favorite. Black and white gives it more strength.

Exhibition Shot, just showing what the RX100 can do with very straight forward window lighting.

I've once again been distracted from the challenges - lots and lots of work going on at home over the past weeks, busy shooting, working, and trying out new cameras...just haven't had the time, or ability to host...so I'll stick with exhibition and just keep the thread going strong and support the challenges...

First...pure fantasy for fun, back in my H5 days:

The moon and clouds are the only real part - all the landscape, trees, and wolf are digitally sketched in

And an oldie that I won previous challenges with, from my T100:

Long one of my most successful shots in challenges and for comments - and taken with a P&S pocket cam

A few others:

Partial silhouette of a great blue heron, with my A300 DSLR

Partial silhouette - industrial sunset with my A550

Landscape sunset silhouette, Saguenay river, Quebec - A580

Gloucester, MA - red skies in the morning, sailors take warning (the storms that day were intense!)

Foggy night, down the street, sodium vapor lights - with the old H5

The first one actually is a b&w conversion with some dual tone coloring added after that. I did this because it emphasized the of fragility of the blossoms - at least that was what I wanted to achieve. YMMV of course.

Sky in the original color picture was blue.

To me the third shot is pedestrian, just a naked tree and an interesting sky.

The first shot has real atmosphere and mystery and it's on a much grander scale.

Your shots are getting a lot of attention because they are good.

Yesterday we had a quick visit to the Art Institute of Chicago. Spent time in the new Modern Wing. A great deal of attention was lavished on the design of the structure. This stairwell caught my eye.
