Quick XF1 question - am I missing something?

So I've sprung on one of the latest XF1 deals as it looks like a great little camera at an expendable price.

It definitely has it quirks (took me quite a while to just figure out how to turn on RAW+JPEG) but I like it so far.

One thing I can't figure out is how to assign either of the back dials for EV-comp. Can anyone here tell me how to do that?

It's already assigned to the four-way controller ring. The top position shows two icons, a trash can (for deleting photos in image review mode) and a "+/-" symbol for Exposure Compensation. Push it once and a vertical EC scale appears on the left side of the screen. Push the same top part of the ring to increase the EC or press the bottom of the ring (which is normally used to change the self timer setting) to decrease the EC.

Thanks for the reply but it isn't exactly what I meant (I didn't make it clear, sorry) . I'd like to know whether you can dial in EC directly... Without having to press a button. There are two dials it would be great to be able to assign EC to the top dial and aperture to the bottom dial. Is that possible?

No, Fuji doesn't give you that option. You could request a firmware change but don't set your hopes too high.

Well that sucks. It seems a bit dim to have two dials controlling the same thing in A or S mode.
