I'm Smilin' Sam, the used car man
I'm gonna get'cha if I can!

You too can look this good by aiming your flash unit at a large white foam core board (FCB) instead of at yo self.
Well, maybe not quite this good, but close...:)

Nikon 5700, aperture p mode, beautiful woman pressing the shutter. Why do you think I'm smiling so.

Very nice natural look to the photo Jarrell. But you are the eternal optomist if you think a piece of foam core is all it will take to make me look that good.. Love your work.

Very cool shot - although not NEARLY as cute as the one you sent the other night. Now that was a keeper.

Jarrell, your lighting skills just make me green with envy. I want a class! Wonderful shot, great pose and kudos to the person behind the camera. :)

with this post is perfect ... I was in the hardware store today and would have bought some foamcore, but the only size is 4X8 feet, and my car is small ... so I'm going to go back.

my intention was to use the board to redirect existing light, or maybe some fill on the opposite side of an umbrella, but after seeing these great results I'm going to try what you've did here. Good work.

I know guys aren't supposed to say this to other guys lol, but you're one handsome feller! Does your wife dare let you out of the house by yourself? Cause she probably oughta keep you on a tight leash or you'd be swamped with good lookin' gals every time you left the house! LOL good self portrait Jarrell. One of these days I'm gonna join that foam thingy core whatever club.

Nice portrait, Jarrell. Your excellent lighting approach put a gleam in your eye,and kept it off of your glasses. But shouldn't we be giving the photographer the credit instead of the subject? My compliments to the beautiful lady :-).

Walmart and buy cloth in different colors. I try to get it at least 5 feet wide and 12 feet long. I'm sure any department store in the world has a supply of this..:)

I kept mine in the 4x8 foot size, finally cutting it in half. It's a little more manageable now and works great for redirecting light. It can even make ME look good...well, better...:)
