How much did you guys pay for your 717 and where did you order from? Im gonna hopefully order today and trying to find a reputable place with good prices.

i bought my f717 at sears in palm beach gardens,florida. The price was based on the print out I brought in from one of the lowest prices I could find on the internet. The salesman did not even blink.I got the internet price- 10% difference between sears and the internet price. The total with tax came out to $623.00.
Try it, You have nothing to lose. Some people said I was lucky.

B&H is selling it for $799.00 and they won't try and screw you by pulling parts out of it.

I bought my F717 from them, and would do it again.

B&H has always been reliable for me. I bought the F717 at $739. Added a second spare battery and a 256M Memory Stick Pro, and another lens hood. The total including shipping was just under $1000.

$699 + S&H from TechDepot.com

Price is listed at $799 so you have to put it in your shopping cart to see the real price. They're a division of Office Depot so you don't have to worry about them trying underhanded tactics.

I bought my 707 from http://www.us1camera.com . They have the 717 at $643 and I am going to order it from them soon as soon as mine is sold on ebay. they have good ratings. They are one of those NY dealers but for some reason on this website they do not screw you over in any way. The salesmen asked me if I wanted accessories and I said no. He said ok. Their shipping is high though. Check it out and give them a call. Comes in US retail box with warranty and all supplied accessories.

Just bought my 717 on saturday from Cardiff. Got the 717 with the 32mb card and a 128mb card thrown in for £550 new. I was going to get the Canon 10D but I've probably saved myself £1500 with the 717. Bargain for what it does although I will get a 10d Christmas time

Like I said I bought my 707 from them with no problems. Usually you can tell if its a clean outfit if they dont bother you for add-ons. They asked when I bought the 707 and I said I didnt need any additional accessories and they were cool with that. I wont be ordering the 717 until the 707 sells on ebay so it may be some time but I wouldnt hesitate. Just give them a call to feel them out.

I bought my 707 from B+H, and also would do it again. I was an early adopter, paid $930. but got 250. back from AMEX Blue.

Got my 717 from Sears (Yorktown Heights, NY) this weekend for $639 before tax using their 110% Pricematch Guarantee with a printout from InfinityCameras.com ($619 + $31 shipping) no questions asked.

No such luck with Circuit City down the block that said Infinity doesn't qualify as a 'local' store (it's less than 50 miles away).

Also picked up a Mack 5-year warranty from Compuplus.com for $34 + $8.60 shipping (yeah the shipping's a ripoff I know, but try finding it for less anywhere else).

YOU CAN DO THAT??!!! How do you get the extended warranty on a camera you didn't buy from that store? This was the one big thing that I've been holding off on, do to the expense of warranty's.

and — I ordered my warranty on Sunday and got it in the mail today.

All I have to do now is register. Something could still go wrong I suppose.
