Defenders of the 7D "spring" into action. None of them will need the 7D II because the 7D is/was perfect? I think more than just the new technical innovations, the basic improvements to noise and AF will be much appreciated by myself and many others.
Yes, I have much room to improve on technique, composition and creativity but I believe good tools help make the job easier. A cleaner high I SO output along with a more accurate AI Servo AF will make the task of wildlife and action photography in demanding situations, yield more useful keepers. It will be a "good riddance" day to the 7D if Canon has done the job right.
And the same old 7D bashers come crawling out of the woodwork. That small, but valiant band of photographers, who are unable to take good pictures with the 7D, and obviously blame their tool, because, I mean, it can't be their own inability, now, can it? I mean the fact that so many others have been using their 7Ds to take great sports shots, wildlifes, landscapes, portraits, macros, all well-focused, means nothing. They just got lucky. The camera is clearly crap, because it doesn't automatically turn our internet heroes into Sports Illustrated gods, or Cartier-Bressons, or Ansel Adams.
