Unfortunately I don't remember the data other than the film used since I for some reason didn't write them down...

This is a very lovely moment. Would have been nice to have it little closer as to have more detail in the expression but then the moment would have been gone.

Great shot none the less

interesting shots. Its a shame there isnt more on the right side of the second picture; if you had all of the three figures, that would make a nice series across the frame. I'm guessing you were using the 50mm for these, which can be a bit long if you arent used to it--looks like a 35 might have been about right for both of these to me.

I also think that as presented these both look bunched up in the highlights and shadows, with a steep, relatively empty expanse in the midtones. That could be down to scanning, or development, or film... You might consider a more forgiving bw film for use in bright light--even hp5, despite the speed, is a good choice, but if you want a slower speed for sunlight, fp4 is also excellent, and gives you a lot of latitude in your exposures. Personally i default to tri-x, but hp5 is both more forgiving and more sensitive.

Hope you experiment with more film and bring us back what you find--

Bert, this remains an entertaining shot, but you've also posted it for comment here several times. Has your thinking about the picture changed?

Generally, I'd much rather see new work than rehash old, established pics.

sorry for repeated posting. Is there a way I can see what I already posted here and what not or should one keep record for himself in that respect. ?

I actually do have a Codachrome 400 around somewhere... My biggest problem is that these Ilford are doing pretty great except for when kept in about 30 celcius / 80% humidity for a while.

Even lost about 15 frames due to moist or heat damage before developing :( But still have a roll in the old Fujica that I need to finish.

Regarding the FOW I do almost exclusively shoot the 35mm/f2 on my 5DII but the Fujica is rusted together with the 50 f/1.8. The prism doesn't seem to equal the exposure it's only like 85% coverage and I seem to remember not even having any of the 3rd person in the viewfinder but hey just thought I'd put em up here.

Ask me about it in 4-5 months when it arrives.

Not very compelling for most, perhaps. But for night SP lower noise floor and improved AF will mean a larger number of usable keepers.

I will sell off 1dsiii and D3s now.
