I have the D800 and 1 month ago I bought the RX10 and the A7. Bottom Line is my wife thinks I should dump all of them and stick with the RX10 alone. Forget the reviews its one of the best P&S I have ever seen and used.

I think your wife may be right. You seem to be having a great time with the RX10. It looks like you are using picture effect. I like how the photos look. It is a different look and fun to experiment with different effects. Have fun and enjoy your adventure.

Thanks for sharing

No No. Actually in this particular set of pictures in this post I did not use any effect at all and no post processing whatsoever, just straight from the camera

Another happy customer getting awesome images SOOC without even trying, it just happens.
And not to mention NO bag of lenses and dramas with setting after setting!

Well done, great images.

of place that I will never be able to visit! Looks like a very nice place you and your wife are staying at! Excellent images and I love my RX10, too!

You are doing well to avoid the turmoil in your county. I hope that things calm down soon there. Enjoy your photography, but be careful taking photos in the street.

Well we got rid of the brotherhood and thats a big plus but we will have to pay the price for a while but things are getting calmer day by day. Anyhow the rx10 is an awesome camera indeed. Whats really outstanding also is the macro capabilities of the camera. My only issue is with AF in low light when you zoom the lens beyond 100mm even with the external flash (hv 60) , otherwise its awesome. Best point and shoot I ve ever used

Nice shots.

Just straight out of camera JPEGs? What general settings are you using, if you don't mind me asking?

Had mine 6 weeks now and love it. But I'm coming from a P&S background, rather than high-end DSLR. So I've still a long way to go.

No special settings, it was P mode I guess, all I did was set the ISO to 1600 and placing the camera on a high table in a bar not handheld

Since you are a professional photographer you'll need the versatility of all the other cameras in your stable.

But for casual snaps, the RX10 may be all that you need to carry.

BTW wife's or SO of photography Gearheads are the most severe and honest critics of ones photos and Gearheads G.A.S. for better gear.

Good luck whatever you decide.

I am not a professional at all, I am an amateur, the RX10 serves 80% of my needs, thats all, thats why I carry it around all the time
