curious how you get in on with it?? or any manual lenses an any chive of samples?

I recently watched a video on digitalrev an they tested different af phase, contast an maunal an manual won all tests movement an even low light, I know there's a skill in it.

I own the 85. Simon has both and...many other nice lenses from samyang.

Basically got them all , you have seen my photos so you know what they can do . I have no grips with any of them they are all I use . All the lenses are just so sharp . Yes it takes a while to get used to manually focus , some like it some don't personal choice. Damn I should be getting paid for this.

Trying to capture the images i see around me.

I own the 35mm and I like the images you get even at open aperture and the creative options this lens gets you.

The downside: its a bit unbalanced with the NX300 so I prefer the handling with the NX20. Downsiide with both is the magnification just centered but that applied to all legacy and MF only lenses

How good are Samyamg / Rokkor lenses? They had terrible reviews when they came out and Samyang withdrew a couple for redesign after serious negative reaction?

Have they improved enough to compare with Samsung own brand?

Go look at the last set of photos I put on here shot with the 24mm and 85mm or look up Dom Bower Photography on utube , he us blown away by the sharpness he gets. Think about no AF no IS so it all goes into the optics. Yes the Samsung 85mm is as good as the Samyang but then go compare the price. I know I sound like a fanboy for Samyang but I suppose I am , for the photography I do Samyang fits the bill in spades.

I have both the samsung and the samyang 85. The samsung is, imo, clearly better. Less ca, sharper wide open, better contrast.

The samyang is not bad, and is exceptional for the price.

They are 1 stop faster and have 8 blades vs samsung 30mm's 7. I think that they could cover a ff area, hence the size. From the pics I saw, they are both very good.

While everyone is discussing the Samyang 85mm. Is the IQ similar to the Samsung 45mm? I really could use either lens and at the same price I CANNOT decide. Haha
