Maybe DPR doesn't want to embarrass Sony? Why is it taking forever for the great Philip Bloom to review of A7/r, as he had promised? Same possible reason?

I was mistaken.Maybe DPR doesn't want to embarrass Sony? Why is it taking forever for the great Philip Bloom to review of A7/r, as he had promised? Same possible reason?
Yeah, this puzzles me too indeed. It is puzzling since the Nikon Df came out after the A7r and got a preview and right after that a full review.
I have expressed a lot of doubts in the forum but not owning one, I now feel that in fairness, I should stop making any more comments at this time. I don't mind reporting new information when it comes along however, as I did here. It's going to be interesting to see how they deal with 2 very different cameras in the real world of non-native glass.
I predict they will just play around with the 3 AF natives and give A7 silver (should be gold) and R gold (should be silver)
The review depends on market interests. If u looked at the "Most Popular Cameras" chart in the DPR page, Nikon DF ranks the number one in popularity, Panasonic GM1 next and then Samsung NX30.It is puzzling since the Nikon Df came out after the A7r and got a preview and right after that a full review.
Perhaps because the Df doesn't shoot video making it much much faster to review than the Sony. Or priorities.
Add "Class leading JPG quality" to the prosTo come with an answer to this camera?
Or might it be that reviewing cameras like this is not the prime goal of this site anymore? Or is it that Sony is paying enough to DPReview? or could it be that they are testing it very good and there will come a great test report for this new camera?
In fact I find the tests of new cameras less and less important. The IQ of all cameras is greater then I need and the rest you can read in all the reviews allready on the internet.
Lets try to make the conclusion of the review and see how good we are at predicting:
Pros:
Small FF camera
Very high IQ both in good and low light
Very good EVF
Lot of customizing controls
Good number of direct controls
Better menu system
Can use allmost all legacy lenses
Hump is very nice ()
Zebra to help exposure
Focus peeking
Cons
AF not class leading
A7r has no hybrid AF system
A7r has no EFC
Battery life is poor
Single SD card slot
Please feel free to make your own conclusion...
It could be that Sony came with two comparable cameras at the time. Maybe the "smart" system of DPR can't handle that...The review depends on market interests. I don't know why the Sony A7/A7R is not even in the top ten. I thought it made quite an impact on the market, but I guess it is only within a very small circle...
Its pretty standard for DPReview to take 2-3 months for a review of a new camera.Sorry but if DPreview didn't have a camera months prior to it's release then there is something seriously amiss.
Someone, somewhere has made the decision not to bother, it's as simple as that.
It takes them a while to write the review, camera hasn't been out that long. I don't think this review has taken any longer than any of the other cameras. I imagine the reviews they are able to launch right away they had production level cameras well before hand. I know A7 was pre-production sample models prior to release so they probably waited to start a full review.

They have shown they don't want to bow to time pressure. Not sure I agree as the reviews are pretty out of date once they surface but... their call I guess.
