I don't normally do much B&W, but I had time to kill today and gave these a whack. What think?

I especially liked this one! Something very fitting about the postprocessing.

Very low light photography is a bit outside the X-A1's comfort zone due to the lack of an OVF but these shots seem to have turned out fairly well despite trial-and-error composition:

Cassiopeia and the faint smear of M31. 16mm f3.5 15s 1600 ISO.

Orion and its namesake nebula. 24mm f4.2 6.5s 1600 ISO

Shot raw and postprocessed in LR 5.3.

The last two exploring the shadows or quarter tones are real nice. One does not see that often here.

Needed a shot for the flickr X group and hastily got something within the rules. X-E1, 35mm f1.4, 1:1, 1/80, f2, ISO 800, WB auto, B/W+G, everything else 0, SOOC JPG :)
