Colour, for both images in my book.

I prefer the color, but both are keepers.

Thx all for comments; always hesitating between both :-)

I incline towards color for these

I like both but my vote is for B&W. Looks a bit more abstract/artistic.

Both work well, but I prefer the B&W. I really like the shapes created by the actual and reflected branches in the water. I would like to see you darken the blue areas for more contrast on the water between sky and cloud reflections. nice shot!

Thx very much

These are very first trials of shots from yesterday..

So C&C are precious to get the best from originals

I still balance between Color and BW I like both The BW are more prone to dream...

Anyway thx to all

HNY 2014!

The colour works better in both for my tastes.

For me, there is too much conflict between the bright center spots and the lightend corners in the black and white versions and the eye finds it difficult to rest anywhere.

very interesting remark, yes I too find the BW difficult to read Which in turn gives it another dimension, dreaming, oniric...

Great shot. I prefer the B&W. They both have a sort of abstract look about them, but, for me, with the B&W I just accept that it's abstract and don't wonder what it is.

I prefer color. The B/W would be better with a black frame. That way you would be able to see, where the picture ends, & the background begins.

Both look great. Last time I had a choice like this, I used topaz B&W to convert with a touch of color. Try introducing 10-15% of the color back in the B&W and see if it works...

No matter what you do, these are keepers.

Hi,

Color.

I like the "monochrome" look. And the blue is very nice.

Which doesn't mean bw is bad. Somehow it reminded me of Man Ray - that was just a sudden inspiration, i do not know what exactly reminded me...

Cheers

Hi,
I like both. In a way ,the colour one shows its Fuji's unique interpretation to colours, whereas bw demonstrates its pretty framing and bouncing lines, which unbandages from colours.

Wow, tough choice. Overall I think I prefer the color version, I love the shade of blue in it. The B&W version is very interesting though, very much an abstract look to it. Both are great.
