I'm looking for a good backpack for my camera gear and was considering the above mentioned by Lowepro. I need something that is comfortable to carry and that will allow me to take extra stuff beside my camera equipment. Does anyone here uses it ? If so, I would appreciate your feedback and the pros&cons you have found so far.

I intend to use this for traveling and don't want to be annoyed by the weight or size of a shoulder bag. I tried the Elite AW which was really well made but uneasy to carry around for a long period, and with no extra space.

The equipement I intend to carry is a Canon 10D with a 28-135 attached, a 550EX flash, perhaps another short lens (still saving for the 17-40mm) and the usual accessories (Image Tank, spare batteries & charger, user's manual etc.)

Thanks

It's quite a bag, you can fit a lot of junk into it! Very comfortable as well, I love it.

Well Joe,

If all of your equipment fits in this bag, I shouldn't have any problem ! How does the harness/waistbelt feels ? I don't like the fact that it comes separate from the bag and fear it won't perform as well as if it was built-in.

it seems a newer version is in the making (Rover AW II) that will feature it.

Anyways, thank you for your input !

On the contrary it is quite comfortable and that thing DEFINITELY is not coming loose. I like the fact that you can adjust the height of the bag on your back while not moving the position of the harness. It's the most comfortable back pack I've ever owned. I wish they made a regular but less expensive backpack just like it.

The bag was perfectly comfortable during a full day of skiing at Squaw Valley earlier this year.

I just got Rover Light few weeks ago and I love this bag. It fits my 10d with 28-70mm lens attached, EOS 3 with 28-135 IS attached and 540ez . Still alot of room left for the stuff like charger or batteries. The top is pocket is empty at the moment but I planing to get 100-400mm IS ( and the optional lens case so I can attach it on the belt ).

Almost forgot, the tripod holder it makes me actually forget that I cary my tripod. Well hope this helped. Good luck Rafael
