A Waterfall shot today.

Hi Bill,

Could you please send me your email address, I want to ask you about some of the waterfall pictures you've been posting, if that's okay.

If one of us is laughing, and the other one isn't, one of us must be wrong...

I'm a newbie, so please forgive my ignorance. What would happen to the pics if you didn't use the filters? Also, what if the Aperture setting was between f2.8 - 4.0? The reason I ask, I have a V1 on the way, and I would love to try some shots like you have done. Your shots are awesome!

If I didn't use the ND filters (which cut down on the amout of light entering the lens) I would have had to use a much "faster shutter speed" which would have stopped the flow of water more like this shot.
Exposure time [sec]: 1/100
Exposure program: Aperture priority
Exposure mode: Auto
Exposure bias [EV]: -0.70
F-Number: F6.3
ISO value: 100
Metering mode: Multi-segment
Light source: Unknown
White balance: Auto

Here same shot but slower shutter speed
Exposure time [sec]: 1/10
Exposure program: Aperture priority
Exposure mode: Auto
Exposure bias [EV]: -0.30
F-Number: F6.3
ISO value: 100
Metering mode: Multi-segment
Light source: Unknown
White balance: Auto
