Miss old image comparison

Wow, I was totally blown away by the inability to compare new reviews of camera images to all the cameras I was interested in. While I understand the need to update the review process and give a more detailed image (since the chips are ever more sensitive), not providing ANY backwards comparison basis totally sucks. We don't just flush all our gear down the toilet and start over, we BUILD SYSTEMS for extending and upgrading, which uses older gear in addition to new gear. Why your new reviews don't support that is beyond understanding.
 
I don't even think the new image is as good. It lacks much of the variety of subjects vs. before. And even the 'bright' mode seems dark, to me. Indistinct, as though the lighting weren't as good as the old scene.
 
Time marches on, get used to it. I think they said they were shooting some older cameras (you won't get 4 year old ones being reshot) in the new test scene.
