A sure sign of fall! Nicely done!

Beautiful shot, and I see you're using my favorite most versatile camera, the HX30V.

The Winner Sets up a NEW Mini-Challenge!!!

(Second place takes the baton in case the * Winner could or would not host the next one *)
Enter Exibition in header if you do want to be voted on or chosen as the Winner!!!

Rules (general rules from past competitions):

1) Enter up to 3 photos from any camera taken at any time. Let us know about equipment,

settings and processing if you like. A good title and perhaps a line or two about where and

why (the story) of the image adds to our enjoyment.

2) 3rd, 2nd, and 1st Place Winners will be chosen. The winner chooses the next mini

challenge theme and selects the next winner and so on. . .

3) Please post your entries by replying to this original post rather than under someone

else’s post - and change the subject line to the title(s) of your images or something like that

to separate your picture posts from comments that someone may make about your post.

4) As usual, exhibition entries are welcome, if you have interesting images to share beyond

your three entries, or should you feel you are not able to host the challenge in the event

that you win. Please be sure to clearly state if entries are exhibition only.

5) All entrants should check the results of the challenge and be ready to jump in with the

next competition if they are the winner.

6) PLEASE feel free to make as many comments as possible. This adds to the fun and

keeps people coming back. Lets make this a record number of entries.

7) The contest starts now and ends (11:00 PM Nov 11 )

Marsh Creek State Park also has horses... This was from 2011

One of my favorites... Covered bridge in Bucks County. I have a 24x36 canvas of this hanging in our living room.

Another favorite.... Marsh Creek State Park. I was shooting the sunrise in the other direction when I noticed another photographer shooting at something behind me :) This light lasted long enough for about 3 frames by the time I got turned around...

Beautiful images. The last one ...WoW

I was really lucky to spot the other person shooting it as well. Since then, any time I'm shooting sunrise or sunset, I always make sure to turn around and see what the light is like behind me...

Like this one :)

Here is a sunset I shot at Marsh Creek...

A fantastic series with each better than the other! Especially love that first one and the covered bridge.

I read one time to shoot sunset...Put sun at your back...lock exposure...turn around and shoot sunset...never tried it?

but I might have to give that a try :)

Thanks!

I see there is a typo in the original post.

It should read .......
Enter Exibition in header if you do NOT want to be voted on or chosen as the Winner!!!

So, I will not be voting on any exhibition shots towards becoming the winner.

I will be voting on posts that DO NOT have EXB in the header.

If any people want to clarify their shots please reply to you original posts.

Sorry about this

Bill

I love most of these, and, I have to say, that GD ipone pic is terrific.

I have not done this challenge in a few years so here goes.

The first was with a Konica Minolta 7D using a Sigma 18-250 (I think)
