Like everything except the 4000 max shutter speed.

For my hands and hanging glass, I really don't want any smaller.

Definitely NOT less expensive than the D610, maybe less than D800, but could definitely be $3K depending on what other features it has.

Baby D4? D750? I think it might be worth the price if under $2800

Nikon really knows how to turn us on... and make us sweat and squirm... and think of our plain-Jane D300 or 5D MkII girlfriends as sack-cloth nothings... yes, us bumpkins from Peoria will melt by the time this ad campaign comes to completion! But when we learn the price of handling her curves (or lack thereof) and holding her intimately we will discover that she is waaaay out of our league and not for most of us... still we can enjoy the fantasy!

Anyone need a kidney? :o)

Yes! I want one :-). I don't need to known any more ;-)

regards,

Peter

Looks like old F2 titanium finish :-)

If it has over 7fps, it will be qite popular and expensive. maybe more than $3500. Really looks great so far.

Might that be an interchangeable finder I see? Looks a little like the F3.
It does look like it could be given the shape. Theres one close up shot of the prism but its out of focus, to me though it doesn't look like theres any kind of gap that might suggest a removable finder.

That camera looks pretty large.

Looks very like the F3 in layout to me just a little taller to accommodate AF. The mount/prism looks like its pushed out quite a bit from the rest of the camera which is significantly thinner than modern high end DSLRs.

You could I'd argue that though that this may not be as big a size disadvantage that it appears on digital compared to the film days. I look at the new Sony FE lenses and to me they look longer than I'd expect similarly speced DSLR lenses to. I wonder whether the reason for this is that there having to avoid extreme light angles hitting the sensor due to the small flange distance. Basically could we be looking at....

F Mount = Larger flange distance shorter lens.

FE Mount = Smaller flange distance longer lens.

Actually, more like the D300, the rear dials the same and the build looks to be strong, the D7100 looks a lot more dinky.

Top shutter speed dial ;-) just like old times...
