Hi,

Please tell me if you prefer picture 1 or picture 2 and what could be improved.

Thanks,

of the two to compare I prefer number two the clouds look real in number two. All of them look just a whisker on the hd side but I like the effectr.

I find that I am torn between using these effects and others that were not normally available in film work, on the one hand I want the images to look real but on the other hand suddenly now we have such wonderful tools to take our simple landscapes and create images beyond our wildest dreams, its a brave new world of brilliant color and fabulous black and white and everything in between and more.

I prefer #2. The clouds looks better to me.

Beautiful reflection in #3. Excellent colors.

Cheers,

Jake

My favorite is #2. Beautiful composition, too.

The clouds in the first one are a little distracting, but I prefer its composition more. On the 2nd one the viewer's eye (and attention) is drawn away to the right in the middle of the scene because of that dirt field. It's less of an issue in the first one. I would also clone out the wood stake in that area.

I like #2 the best as well. Number 3 has a very dreamy look to it with the over saturation and boat movement. In #2 I would add a little green back into the trees on the left and reduce saturation a little overall. Dave

Thanks so far for all opinions - they are valueable for me and I will play a bit with the pics to improve them here or there. I agree that there is a bit too much saturation.

regards,

Alex

I like 2 the best. Nice composition and the sky adds a lot to it.

Another vote for #2, for the same reason cited by others. The "earth elements" in the image are wonderful and fully complimented by the unaltered clouds. The only other thing I would suggest is cloning out the white stake at the corner of the tilled plot.

I like the last image but it has a couple surprises in it that threw me at first. The more I look at it, the more I like it.

Thanks for posting.
