Very nice variety of shots from Turkey. I especially like the blue mosque and balloon shots.

Here are a couple of shots from this year's Tribute in Light display in lower Manhattan.

Ok , these were actually taken last week, but I notice a few older images being offered. They are some of my first images with my new GX1 and PZ 14-42.

Great set of pictures, nice to see evidence a different lifestyle in here. Love the car and the Blue Mosque but wow, the 2nd ballon shot is a brilliant image.

Very nice, good atmosphere and lighting.

Good stuff, would have liked to have had a pop at that backdrop myself.

I like the lighthouse shot but can't help thinking a lower viewpoint and placing the subject off-centre might have helped. Just my thoughts.

A lot more interesting than my walk home from work.

Wonderful light, very nicely taken.

It's been a while since I posted a set, as I've been a bit lazy photography-wise lately.

A couple of days ago I dusted off the E-P3, the 12/2.0, the 60/2.8 Macro and went to a nearby swamp to shoot some tree roots. I was mostly expecting to use the 12/2.0, but I took the macro lens because I quite often see a troupe of macaques in this swamp.

Some shots:

Swamp Monkey

12/2.0

(Converted to black and white using Silver Efex Pro II, then colour-popped using a mask in CS5. I used a B+W Kaesemann C-pol for this shot, which helped to draw detail from under the water)

Roots

12/2.0

(Used a C-Pol for this shot to draw out the colours and processed using the Perfectly Clear plugin for CS5, which seems to make for nice greens)

Macaque

(Shot with the 60/2.8 Macro. Needed to do quite a bit of dodging in PP to lighten its face)

Baby

(60/2.8 Macro, quite heavily cropped)

Wire Bridge

12/2.0

Planks

12/2.0

(Converted to black and white using Silver Efex Pro II)

You're right I think that would have been better.
Unfortunately I was on top of a hill, had the last ferry to catch, and it would have been about an hour to get down there and back to where I was which I couldn't spare.

Unfortunately more rain and cloud than sunshine this past week.

Those shots make me homesick ...

There's a lot of character in some of those shots.

Well done.

Cool set.

I lived in Turkey for a short time, but unfortunately I never made it to Cappadocia.

I think I recognised the Hagia Sofia in a couple of those shots. That's a really impressive building.

Excellent shots.

If the baby shot is heavily cropped it's testament to the quality of the lens.
