the linier design of this is elegant and simple in the extreme which is its greatest strength and its biggest weakness, there seems just not quite enough to pull me in. I agree though with Vidau your images willl gain strength when viewed in a gallery together, It is much clearer where you going with these viewed together. as always beautifully organized and "printed"

Pascal,

The more I'm seeing of your work, the more I'm hoping that maybe you'll end up making a book out of it because I want to buy it. Think about it. I've made four books so far and have three more in the works at the moment. I publish them through Blurb.com and am happy with the quality. I'm not making any money, but I'm pleased that I've made these books. If you make one I'll buy it. You can see the ones I've made here:

A Subset's Blurb book site

You can look at all of my books for free on the site. I use Lightroom and Blurb's BookSmart software to make them.

Thank you so much for your very kind comment A Subset: it's deeply appreciate.

About Blurb, I read this thread

and it's seem there is a cast problem...

I have been happy with each of the printed books I've received.

One thing to consider is that you can make the book for free, then buy one copy to see how you like it, so the investment is minimal. I'd suggest you give it a try and if it doesn't meet your expectations then you've not lost much.

- A.

P.S. Someone else commented about how your work needs to be seen in a group in order to be understood. I think this is a valid point. Years ago I took a class with Todd Walker. One day he brought a few prints to class to show us the nudes he'd been working on. They were very bizarre and I didn't get them at all. Later I went to a gallery showing of his work where there were many, many prints and all of a sudden I "got it," and from that point on I understood his vision.

I think that is why I'm suggesting you put your work into a book. It needs the context of more of your work to be easily grasped, if that makes sense. (And, the selfish part is... I want to BUY one for myself!)

Once again, many thanks for your kind comment Subset - anf for being my future first customer! I hope you're not working for Blurb :-D

My bigger problem is that I'm travelling since many years and haven't any place to put any books! Things should be change in the future...

I completely agree with you that it's better to show many pictures together. Many people said the same that you about my work and I can remember somebody who was destroying every picture of my selfportrait serie when I was posting them one by one, then eventually looked the all serie in a slideshow and told me that put together he found them very good!

How wonderful! So that's how you get to see so many wonderful places. But you don't have to buy your own books. Just make them so WE can buy them. Or you can point people to them and they can view them online. And no, I don't work for Blurb.

It's very kind of you, but I don't want to sell a book I didn't see myself before.
